Task Force Goal: Create a city with racial harmony that enhances all aspects of life.

Priority Strategy: Create a multi-cultural group to talk about and identify problems.

Comment: The Cultural Unity Task Force seeks to enhance racial harmony within the city through the creation of a multicultural group to identify and discuss obstacles and work to work toward the resolution of identified problems. Task force members are actively recruiting representatives from the Asian, Hispanic, African American, and Caucasian communities of Opelika.
Discussion during the task force meetings is open, honest, and respectful of all opinions. While continuing to expand the task force to include all cultures, the group is constantly considering ways to enhance harmony among all Opelika citizens.
